New Year's Eve
I took pictures at a wedding yesterday (I'll post some later). It was so much fun. Everyone danced until the very end of the reception. The Flashbacks played - their first public gig was 25 years ago, and the bride's father is who hired them for that gig! I was able to play around with my new fisheye lens and new 5D! It's amazing.
Will and I are spending the night at home tongiht. I hope this new year is full of peace. My friend Natalie reminded me of John 16:33 this morning, "I tell you these things so that you may find peace in me. The world is full of tribulation. But I have overcome the world."

Sarah Elizabeth and Grey
virgin blogger
So my goal is to use my blog. To actually write and post pictures. I think I registered for this blog in July, yet this is my first blog. I will soon post pictures I've taken....but I have to figure out how to post pictures first. I'm sitting on my front porch right now, listening to a playlist entitled, "the Barnettes." It's a list of songs some of my friends and I were going to play in an all girl band we had affectionately named the Barnettes, after my boss. We had one rehearsal that didn't work out too well. So now I just enjoy listening to the music we were going to cover. It's a beautiful, warm December day in Jackson, MS.
