Melody and Adam

I photographed Melody and Adam at William Faulkner's house in Oxford - Rowan Oak. They graciously agreed to meet me Easter Sunday afternoon (I was already in town, and that's the only time we could work out our schedules). We also took pictures with their beautiful dogs!

Joey Adams

Two weekends ago I photographed a wedding in Oxford, MS. After the reception, the whole wedding party walked down to City Grocery. Everyone noticed this girl who was in "Dazed and Confused". No one could remember her name (I've never seen the movie), but it was Joey Adams - she's in the striped shirt on the front row.

I usually do not post pictures of me on here (mainly because I'm taking the pictures and I'm never in them!). This past weekend I went to Jackson to photograph a wedding, and our friends Emily and Van were in it. It was such a sweet time to visit with them. Here is a pic of Emily and Van and another of me and Emily (thanks Chris Schwan for taking this picture for us!).

Our friends Ley and Sandy Elliott had a baby boy Tuesday - Gavin Layne. One of their friends made this to hang on the door at the hospital. It was too cute to not post. (I'll post pictures soon of the baby!)

Friday I took pictures of a family in Oxford (I'll post more of the family session soon - I just thought this one was too good not to share). The mom is a school teacher, and she had 11 out of 12 chicks hatch in an incubator in her classroom. She brought two of them for our picture session. Her oldest daughter dropped one of them - can you see it falling? Poor chick!

Sam - 1 month old

Mary Margaret and Sam are quickly becoming some of my favorite children to photograph. Sam is now 1 month old! Mary Margaret calls him "Nam" or just "baby."

Sam fell asleep, and we put him in his Easter basket. He was such a good sport about it!
