Madeline and Nathan

I went to Starkville a couple of weeks ago to take birthday pictures of Madeline and Nathan. Madeline is now 3, and Nathan is 1. Nathan LOVED his cake - and he wanted to eat the icing off Madeline's as well. He was covered in icing. Madeline liked the big suckers better!

Kelly and Drew

Mary Leigh and Patrick

A couple of weekends ago I met Mary Leigh and Patrick in Aberdeen for their engagement pictures. Their wedding is going to be this summer at this great theatre in downtown Aberdeen. We also went to the old federal compress to take pictures. It's just an abandoned cement wall now, but it was so cool for pics. Then we went out to their farm. They were such troopers - it sprinkled/misted on us for a lot of the photo shoot. But I think we were able to get some great pictures.

a big canvas of Oxford

This is one of my favorite pictures of Oxford. I took it a couple of weeks ago, and I will have prints of this next weekend at the Double Decker. I'm also entering it into a contest to win a big canvas of it....wouldn't that be awesome?

Jace Fender

Antwann is one of Will's best friends. Antwann is a bass player, so he and Kaleena named their son Jace FENDER (a brand of bass guitars!!). He is the cutest kid ever. I love how snuggly he is! I don't know how many times we had to reschedule this shoot, but I'm so excited we finally were able to take some pictures!

Laurie and Wesley

I love when I am able to photograph a couple's engagement session, bridal portraits and their wedding. I feel like by the end we are friends. Laurie is beautiful. We did her bridal portraits at the Fairview Inn in Jackson. Their wedding was at Christ United Methodist, and the reception was at Colonial Country Club. Isn't the trolley awesome?
