Sam's groomsmen

This group of guys is one of the best I've photographed. They were very creative and didn't want the typical prom pose with each other. Here are their individual pictures with the groom and a couple of group shots.

Bridal Fair

I participated in the WCBI Bridal Fair this past weekend in Columbus. I took this picture with my iphone, so the quality is not great, but here's my booth...

My parents came in town to help me set up, and Mom helped me the day of the show. I was able to network with some other vendors and photographers. Despite the rainy weather, I think the show turned out well.

Isabel and Sam

I love going to Oxford for weddings! I grew up there and have a different perspective now that I've not lived there in 10 years. I actually went to high school with Isabel and her sister Natalie. We took piano lessons from the same lady and suffered through incredibly hot piano recitals in the public library.

Here are a few of their pictures - you can scroll down to see their slideshow.

Enjoy!

Whitney and Gabe

I am a bit behind in editing pictures. The holidays through me for a loop. My grandmother actually passed away the morning of this wedding. It was also my grandma's 84th birthday.

Whitney and Gabe are a beautiful couple. They actually live 1/2 block from our house in Fondren in Jackson but we didn't know them!

Here are pictures of just them...hope you enjoy!

Nancy Elizabeth and Matt

I had so much fun taking these engagement pictures! Nancy Elizabeth and Matt drove from Little Rock and met me in Jackson one Saturday - and we were so afraid it was going to rain. But the rain held off, and we played all over the neighborhood Reunion in Madison - who knew they had an old barn there? Here are a few of my favorites. Scroll down for their slideshow. It takes a minute for the music to start on the slideshow.

Rebecca and Dusty

These are my friends Rebecca and Dusty Wise. They actually got married in July, and we took these pictures this fall. We went several places in Columbus - on Military Road, the Riverwalk, the Robinson's house. We had a lot of fun, and I'd love to do more photo shoots like this after the wedding. Brides aren't afraid to get their dresses dirty, and we get lots of fun, creative shots of the bride and groom together. Scroll down to see their entire slideshow. Hope you like them!

Mary Beth and Coleman engagements

I had the opportunity of photographing Mary Beth and Coleman in Oxford. Coleman works at Ole Miss. We did their pictures at Rowan Oak, William Faulkner's house. It was a beautiful fall day!

Ashley and Steven

Ashley and Steven are a precious couple in Columbus. They are getting married March 8. We went to Mrs. Nancy Imes house to take their engagement pictures - it was so much fun!

Here is their slideshow.

our Christmas tree and dog

My mother in law wanted me to post a picture of us in front of our Christmas tree (so she could see Bo). Bo wasn't very thrilled with the idea of having his picture taken. This is the only kinda decent picture of the three of us!

I love our Christmas tree. Every year since the year I was born, my mom gave me a Christmas ornament. She started giving Will one too when we got married. And his mom gives us one every year as well. Every ornament on our tree has a meaning and story - they may not be very fancy, but I love them all. I have ornaments from high school friends, friends from college, ornaments I made in 2nd grade, ornaments my 7 year old nephew has made. This year the ornament my mom gave me was the ornament she had given her mother in 1981. I was 4 years old. It hung on my grandma's Christmas tree until she passed away 10 years ago. Until this year, it hung on my mom and dad's tree.

And, yes, that is a mannequin in the right of the picture.

New Wedding Packages

I am participating in two bridal fairs in January - The Premier Bridal Show in Tupelo and the Bridal Fair in Columbus sponsored by WCBI. I will introduce my new wedding packages there, so if you book before January 13, you can still use my old rates that are posted on my website.

I'm excited about 2008 - I already have 21 weddings booked! 2007 was an incredible year - I'm going to post some of my favorite images soon.

Please keep spreading the word about my photography - word of mouth is the best form of advertising!

Ole Miss

Most people know that my brother is the head trainer for the Ole Miss football team. For Christmas, my nephew got a remote controlled airplane. He and my brother tried to fly it in their neighborhood, but they crashed it into a house. So Tuesday afternoon we went out to the Ole Miss football field to fly it. As we were driving up, Will started freaking out. For anyone who remotely knows Will, you know he's a huge Ole Miss fan. So, we had to have a mini photo shoot on the field.

The first pic is Tim and Hayden trying to fly the plane. I just love that pic of them.

The Roberson twins...and their brother!

I have always been fascinated with twins. When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up and have a twin (I didn't quite grasp the concept that if I didn't already have one, I wasn't going to get one later on in life). These girls have lived down the street from my brother and sister in law in Oxford on and off for the past 8 years or more. They are beautiful girls who love to dance. Their brother is hilarious - as you can see in most of the pictures, he loved to pose! Here are a few of my favorites, and you can scroll down to see their slideshow.

The Granthams

I had several photo shoots in Oxford this week. I love going to Oxford to take pictures. It's always a good excuse to see my parents.

Here are some pictures of Margie and Barry Grantham's kids. Margie owns a children's clothing store - Peas and Carrots - in Oxford. Go by if you're ever in Oxford!
