Cassie and Richard

Cassie Olsen and Richard Largilliere were married this past Saturday at St. Richard's Catholic Church in Jackson. We took all their pictures before the ceremony (which allows me to be much more creative!). They were so much fun and laid back. Cassie accidentally stepped on her dress with her heels and ripped the hem about 5 minutes after she had it on. She didn't get upset at all - she just said, "what am I going to do about it now?" She took off her shoes for the rest of the pictures!

Gavin - 2 days old

Gavin's birth story

I had the incredible opportunity to photograph another birth story a few weeks ago. Our friends Sandy and Ley Elliott had their first child - a little boy. They didn't tell anyone his name until after he was born. While we were waiting, Ley's sister and I made a list of names, and the first two names on the list are his first and middle name - Gavin Layne. He weighed 9 pounds 2 ounces - he's a big boy!
