Last week I rode with our friends Richard and Amy Eirheart to Mathiston to take pictures of their kids, Landon and Taylor. Richard's mom grew up in a house that Wood College now owns, so Richard got permission for us to take pictures there. There is still an old tv and claw foot tub in the house, but it's been abandoned for years.

Blair Faulkner
One of the joys I have as a photographer is documenting people's lives, their journey in life. Our sweet friends Blair and Rachel Faulkner have two precious children that I've had the opportunity to photograph. I photographed Campbell as a newborn - here are a few pictures from the photo shoot.
One of the blessings of living in Columbus is our friends at the Air Force base. Blair was a reservist and trained pilots. Yesterday he was in a plane crash and both he and the other pilot were killed. We've grieved the loss of a dear friend, but more so our prayers are with Rachel.
I love this picture of Blair holding Campbell.

Jessica's bridal portraits
My sweet friend Jessica got married last July. (Their wedding was the one where it stormed, so we took pictures in the rain after the reception). She asked me if I'd take pictures of her in a graveyard. I've been wanting to take pictures of a bride in a cemetery but had not found one willing yet. So I was super excited when Jess suggested it to me. We talked about how we are the bride of Christ and are sent into the world to be living among the dead.
I met Jess in Starkville and she surprised me by bringing our friend Lydia with her. Lydia and her husband are expecting their first child soon - we can't wait for little Samuel to get here!

Jessica Lee
I photographed Jessica yesterday for her senior pictures. She's graduating from New Hope in a month! She plans to attend Ole Miss and major in Pharmacy (Go Rebs!).
